As of January 2025, the avifauna of Qatar includes a total of 352 bird species recorded in the country, with a total of 377 taxonomic classifications based on the OSME Region List of Bird Taxa, Version 10.1 (August 2024). Qatar's avifauna comprises of around 60 resident breeding species, while many other birds visit during the cooler winter months or pass through the country during spring and autumn migration.
